Hey when you get the Volcano could you mention in the review as to whether or not the cartridges are compatible with the Blu? I appreciate review. Well done. Have you tried removing the aluminum foil piece in the Blu cartridge? Supposedly this will improve the Blu’s ability to use all the fluid in the cartridge. Just twist the cartridge after putting it on and then pull it off. The aluminum should be on the atomizer. Take it off and throw it away. See if that helps you any. Thanks again.

BTW just an update we are talking with Volacano E-cigs and we are going to get one of their kits which could prove to change our mind on the l88b model. We are excited hope to see you on youtube. Vape On!

@Patmemphis I didn’t know Nicotine is an illegal substance… wait, it’s not.

Do you want to also compare alcohol to child molestation?

Comparing nicotine to cocaine is just as absurd.

The best way I have found on my volcano, is to take a few pre-puffs to get the atty to heat up a bit, allowing it to create more vapor, then taking a slow, light drag. If you are about to go to the break point, take a slight pause then continue the drag. You can get pretty much the same amount of vapor as you can with a 510. Also, if you are having problems, try VG juice.

Oh, also there are holes on the side. Cover one or two of them and you will get less air, and more vapor.

I borrowed Andy’s blu and the battery completely died. If that contributes at all to a review.

I’m pretty sure ebay doesn’t allow e-cigs on there…

Thanks for the info.
So I got to put up with crappy vapor from the BLU. Even did the glycerin mixture, and still crap vapor. Lesson learned another JUNK E cig

11 SuperVaporBros February 16, 2010 at 15:25

We may have one shortly tho! :)

12 SuperVaporBros February 16, 2010 at 15:50

We do not have a volcano cig but would love to if we had one. =(

13 xnf90x2 February 16, 2010 at 16:22

can you guys do a review of the volcano e cig i have one and alot of people says its alot better than blu even though the same company makes it.

14 SuperVaporBros February 16, 2010 at 16:24

to my knowledge without using a different battery box of some kind no.

15 SuperVaporBros February 16, 2010 at 17:01

even dripping directly on the atty they do not produce a sufficiant amount of vapor. compaired with either the 510 or the 401 we do have all 3. Further the comment about a manual 801 battery actually being MORE sensitive than ANY auto is just not right. I’m not sure you understand what we meant. If you put any air through the battery it will go off… shake it a bit, it goes off, yell at it from the side… it goes off. Long story short the battery has a mic switch not air pressure

16 ECiguser February 16, 2010 at 17:44

Ok Blu is the best super mini and yes it will use all the juice your just doing it WRONG!!!! when you put the cart on shake 2-3 times. You will not get a strong hit you will only get the same hit from a normal cigarette. DSE 801 and 901 will produce heavy vapor but is not needed. Blu is made for on the go use Pens even the 510 is not even made for it. and i had the 401 its about the same as blu. The 801 battery is as very sensitive as well if you have 1 buy a manual battery.

17 eminence10 February 16, 2010 at 18:21

the Blu times out to quickly, that is why you cant get a decent hit off it. Is there a way to bypass this feature?

18 SiMpLeJuNkY February 16, 2010 at 18:22

thanx guys…ide like to turn over to sumthin if i can but i want to make the right choice.. thanx again for helping! throat hit is importent as hell so im glad i ran across ur vid :)

19 bizzways February 16, 2010 at 19:09

Good, honest review guys. After tons and tons of online research, I’ve come to the same conclusion as you guys. Blu customer service blows, wait time on processing/shipping blows. The vapor has good taste, but not much mass. Throat hit is poor.

Overall, the consensus is: “don’t go blu, do some research”.

Good reviews guys, keep it up.

20 wheelori814 February 16, 2010 at 19:45

so was the battery use constant or like throughout the day?

21 wheelori814 February 16, 2010 at 20:25

@Patmemphis ahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa thats the funniest thing ive ever heard in my life!!!!!!!

22 Patmemphis February 16, 2010 at 20:53

can you get arrested for smoking those things? isnt that like liquid cocaine? u guys should try to turn your lives around and stop with the drugs.. seriously

23 sheyna1 February 16, 2010 at 20:59

Thanks for the video! I just got the Blu-cigg and I’ve been having trouble with the battery going out every hour or so and I don’t get a descent hit unless I’ve JUST changed the flavor cartridge. I thought I might have gotten a defective pack but now, at least, I know it’s not just me.

24 SuperVaporBros February 16, 2010 at 21:08

It’s all good. We are just trying to keep that idea off of our page to keep away from confusion… I thought of just deleting your post but thought I might as well just respond to it and clear the air. Either way you look at it…. Vape on!

25 MizeryLovesCompany77 February 16, 2010 at 21:55

26 Janae March 2, 2010 at 20:19

Hey! can anyone tell me if the Blu e-cig is the same size as the Advanced-pro Nucig? i have the nucig, but i would like to buy the charger from blu, and hopefully they are the same size so i can charge it?
